The author of the notes is not identified, but the handwriting is the same as in volumes MS0222/2/1 and MS0222/2/2. [Previous reference: 42.a.10]
4) Volume of manuscript notes titled on the spine "Lectures on Anatomy. Cooper and Cline" containing 128 pages of notes of lectures given mainly by Henry Cline with some lectures given by Sir Astley Cooper. The name John Rice appears on the inside front cover. It is not known whether John Rice is the author of the volume. The signature and the handwriting of the volume are similar, but it cannot be absolutely proved that Rice wrote, rather than owned the volume. [Previous references: 42.a.24]
8) Surgical Lectures manuscript volume containing 197 pages of notes, mainly written on the right hand pages, but with additional notes on the left hand pages. A section on bandages begins at page 202. The notes can be dated to before 1803, due to a reference opposite page 43 in the volume. The additional notes on the left hand pages seem to have been made subsequent to 1803. The volume contains the name W. Rose on the first page. It is unknown whether W Rose is the author of the manuscript or the owner of the volume. (It has been noted in Plarr's Catalogue of Manuscripts (1928) that the handwriting in the volume somewhat resembles that of Henry Cline. The handwriting is similar but cannot be definitely proved as the hand of Henry Cline.) [Previous reference: 42.d.37]
