Scope and ContentSir Herbert Barker's correspondence files contain letters to both patients and professional surgeons and physicians. The content of the letters covers subjects such as individual treatments, personal letters to friends, and letters about Barker's work as a manipulative surgeon and the controversies surrounding it. Some letters in the collection are addressed to Lady Barker.
